Hot Stone Massage
Heated volcanic basalt stones placed strategically to penetrate deep tissue, relieve tension, and accelerate healing.
Book an AppointmentHot Stone Massage is done with the help of volcanic stones called basalt stones. These stones have an immense capacity to retain heat that soothes the body. These are the flattened stones that are kept on the body strategically—on the face, palms, stomach, chest, and along the spine.
The heat inside the stone slowly disperses into the body, healing tissues, releasing muscle tension, and assisting with joint pain.
Our Hot Stone Approach
We have incorporated modern techniques of massage in our sessions. We also provide Swedish massage alongside hot stone massage—because the muscles first get relaxed through the massage, the absorption of heat from the stones becomes more effective. The therapist kneads and taps with circular motions. Stones are heated to 130–145°F and carefully placed on desired parts of the body.
